OK, here is my problem with that ideology. In my mind, making abortion illegal perpetuates the idea that women's only job is to have a kid. I don't actually believe that. I was saying that that perpetuates that idea.

Rape victims are very unfortunate. It doesn't make the kids life any less valuable. As far as the majority of cases, if a woman chooses to have sex and she gets pregnant, yes she should be forced to have that baby. She made a choice. Choices have consequences.

Also, you stated that you are a Christian. As a Christian, you should understand that God values all lives and the Bible is very direct about how God feels about the unborn.

You talk about the majority, however banning it in all circumstances would lead to what I am pointing out. What if in unconsented sex situations the woman got to choose?

I certainly would not abort. I would not suggesting aborting. However, I also believe in basic freedoms. I think the Bible is also very direct in how to act around someone with different beliefs than you, even sinners.

Jesus did say, "those without sin cast the first stone.", but if you read past Matthew 7:1 it talks about how it is good to condone sin.

Matthew 7:1 is probably the most used saying of Jesus to silence critics, but it is never used in its full context.

All sins work the same way. I love the sinner and want them to have a wonderful life, but sin is sin. The Bible is very clear that we should not accept it.

Of course we should not accept it. In no way am I saying, 'Just let people abort.' If you feel strongly about that, be involved. Talk to people considering abortion, etc. You certainly do not have to go to either extreme. Again, in no way do I think abortion is necessarily moral, but I do think that people should have the right to do it.

I will go to an extreme. I am passionate about the issue. There is no middle ground for me. God doesn't make mistakes. That baby is not a mistake that should be discarded regardless of how it was conceived. Why should people be allowed to kill unborn babies?

Well then I disagree with you on God's will on the issue.

Also, if a pregnant woman is murdered and the baby dies too its double homicide, so obviously the law sees it as a baby. How is not murder if the mother chooses to kill it, but it is murder if someone else kills it. Use some common sense man.

Good point. However the law also says that the minors rights are superseded by adults. When the rights come into clash, the minor's rights do not outweigh.

Not first trimester.

Yes in the first trimester.

Heart beats start at 6 weeks
They start peeing at week 10
Babys start absorbing nutrients at week 6
babys start kicking around week 16

The only one that starts in the 2nd trimester is the last one and its early in the 2nd trimester. You have been lied to by liberals over and over again. It is a baby in the first trimester.

Poor argument. Rights of a minor's guardian do not include death of that minor.

It most certainly does benefit them. Now a democrat can be appointed to his seat for the rest of the term and the dems can look like good guys for having taken action. If a republican was going to take over his role for the rest of the term he would not have been booted.
