Love the USC/OSU match-up.
Well that was a given. OSU was either playing Clemson or USC and USC was either playing OSU or Wiscy. Actually like that the game isn't in LA for once. Makes it more fair
With any luck, both teams will want to compete.

Who does Nebraska play?

I can certainly see OSU wanting to make a statement and the same for USC. Last year's Rose Bowl was probably the 2nd best game (aside from the title game) of all the post season games played when USC and PSU played a classic. Maybe it will have a repeat performance especially since it will again feature 2 conference champions (just like the Rose last year).

I'm sure the teams, overall, want to win. I was just thinking about the NFL prospects. Darnold and Jones(and I think a WR) along with some OSU linemen are projected as 1st/2nd rounders. Fournette and McCaffrey could have started a trend. Or, if nothing else, a tweak that they'd normally play thru could sideline them.

Mich/Mich St are on par with KY/SC.
Guess we'll see with the Mich/SC game.

If both teams can stay out of trouble, I don't think there's a BIG NFL prospect on either side. Mich has a defensive lineman that gets press and SC has a linebacker, I think he's a 6th year player so I'm not sure of his prospects, who makes a bunch of plays.

If that's accurate, I feel bad for Rosen's career.

They keep drafting QBs who s*ck. At some point don't they have to try something else?

They keep passing on QB's that don't suck at the top of the draft to take QB's that suck later on (though Hue Jackson wanted to take Watson at 12 but was vetoed by the higher ups - that seems like a "good" call). I can't imagine they are sold on Kizer, so they almost have to take a QB at 1 this year (especially since Houston is most likely giving them a 2nd top ten pick).

No matter what the round they're drafting these QBs in, they all seem to blow. Obviously they have zero idea how to evaluation QBs. At some point shouldn't they admit that and simply stop drafting them and go the FA and/or trade routs to get a QB?
Based on many reports regarding his lack of leadership and prima donna attitude, Rosen seems like another failure candidate. Why gamble with that kind of pick, when you could choose other players with much greater chances of being (at least) "good" for the next decade or so?

Some of it is evaluation, some of it is terrible coaching, some of it is the lack of a cohesive plan, some of it is the lack of surrounding talent.

In conclusion, Cleveland sucks.
12/4/2017 4:06 PM
Some of it is luck. How many teams passed on Brady? Brees and Carr were 2nd rounders. And, if Jerry had gotten his way, Cleveland doesn't get Manziel.
12/4/2017 6:01 PM
Mayfield feels like a bust to me. Immature and hot headed. He's a slightly better throwing Manziel.
