82 million households will see a tax hike under Trump’s plan.

There are only 126 million households in the US.

Trump’s tax plan is garbage.

Another sexual harassment bombshell is rocking Capitol Hill, after a report claimed powerful Democratic Rep. John Conyers settled a complaint with an ex-employee who said she was fired because she did not “succumb to [his] sexual advances.”

According to the most recent IRS data, for the 2013 tax year,

  • 30.1 percent of households chose to itemize their deductions (44 million returns).
  • 68.5 percent of households chose to take the standard deduction (101 million returns).
  • 1.6 percent of households had zero or negative adjusted gross income, and were unable to take any deductions. (2 million returns)

Simply doubling the standard deduction would not only help the 101 million households that currently take the standard deduction but would potentially help those that currently itemize between $12,700 and $24,000.

It’s from the non-partisan tax policy center. Almost all the benefits to non-wealthy individuals expire while the benefits to corporations and wealthy people do not.

This is a bad deal and completely goes against Trump’s populist message.

President Donald Trump just can't get Washington to respect him, with his national security adviser H.R. McMaster becoming the latest person in the president's orbit to apparently question the commander-in-chief's intelligence in public.

McMaster in July reportedly called his boss a "dope" and an "idiot" who has the mind of a "kindergartner," according to a BuzzFeed News story Monday. Those insults, which five sources said came during a private dinner with Oracle CEO Safra Catz, would put McMaster in a growing group of officials who made clear they don't think we have the sharpest guy in the Oval Office

The so called "tax plan" is a skeleton. Dead meat. As is, anyway. Whether the Senate can get 50+ to agree on a bill seems doubtful. If that (doubtful) event occurs, then the House will need to amend their bill thru reconciliation to synch with the Senate's. The latter would likely get done........ the former seems highly questionable....... what with the head dummy running around needlessly picking more fights with Senators and poking the scabs of others........

Let's see..... how many spiteful angry Senators does it take to kill a perceived Admin. success? There's Ron Johnson, (R) of Illinois already on record as a no..... Rand Paul (R) swears he won't vote for any bill that raises the national debt, Susan Collins (R) is against it as written, and then there's Bob Corker (R) who also says he won't vote for a bill that raises the debt, and John McCain (R) who I'm pretty sure would love to stick it to chump again (He's proved his willingness already), and Jeff Flake (R) who chump is already calling a NO vote, and Lisa Murkowski (R) of Alaska and the snowball just starts growing once it commences.

The vultures have already cleaned the meat offin' it and are setting to work on the carcass!
Can't wait to hear about all the twitting that will occur once the dummy figures out what the reality on this one is!!

0 for ??? now?
You know maybe he can get out of this yet. He can bribe KellyAnne into claiming he groped her and then have an excuse to resign.
Of course, there's a few of us that might find that one not real believable.......I saw a pic of her in the paper the other day.
The Irish eyes were NOT smiling! Nobody else around her was either. Halloween is OVER...........

Umm, Ron Johnson is from Wisconsin and will vote for the plan if they "fix" what he perceives to be inequitable treatment of corporations and pass-throughs, or whatever. Or so he says. When asked by a local radio host if his "no vote" threat were a bluff, he said that he was confident the issue would be addressed.

That said, I agree nothing will get passed. What was it PJ O'Rourke said?

"The Republicans are the party that says government doesn't work and then they get elected and prove it."

All the benefits to the people in the lower brackets expire in the next 5-10 years.
