Just a side note, R. E. Lee opposed slavery. They forget to teach that in history classes.
Who gives a ****? He fought to preserve it.

Harassment case puts Democratic Senate candidate in California under spotlight

^^^another one bites the dust!!

Mr. Trump has already appointed eight appellate judges, the most this early in a presidency since Richard M. Nixon, and on Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted along party lines to send a ninth appellate nominee — Mr. Trump’s deputy White House counsel, Gregory Katsas — to the floor.

Republicans are systematically filling appellate seats they held open during President Barack Obama’s final two years in office with a particularly conservative group of judges with life tenure. Democrats — who in late 2013 abolished the ability of 41 lawmakers to block such nominees with a filibuster, then quickly lost control of the Senate — have scant power to stop them.

^^^THANK YOU HARRY REID!!!!

President Xi of China has stated that he is upping the sanctions against #NoKo. Said he wants them to denuclearize. Progress is being made.

Will be doing a joint press conference in Hanoi, Vietnam then heading for final destination of trip, the Phillipines.

Met with President Putin of Russia who was at #APEC meetings. Good discussions on Syria. Hope for his help to solve, along with China the dangerous North Korea crisis. Progress being made.

When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics - bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!

Does the Fake News Media remember when Crooked Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, was begging Russia to be our friend with the misspelled reset button? Obama tried also, but he had zero chemistry with Putin.

Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!

-Trump being AWESOME on Twitter... AGAIN!!!

Yes, but his character was very well respected by both sides. He was thought of as a great man by the union as well. He didn't fight for slavery. He fought for Virginia. Twisted history bothers me. A large percentage of the confederacy was NOT fighting for slavery.

Very few of those fighting and dying for the Confederate Army actually owned slaves.... Why would they die fighting to keep slavery?

I'm trying to remember the quote and who said it, but an union general said after the war something to the effect of "the fact that Lee was such a great man is more of a reason that he should be hung." If there's any civil war buffs out there please give me a hand.
