I find it interesting. The country has become visibly divided with the ludicrous progressives on one side and right wing conservatives on the other and they just blast one another with "fake news" facts. Meanwhile moderates just sit there and shake their heads asking both sides to please STFU.

Fake News is really more Biased News. I just want news without their liberal oriented opinions.

The reporting in NYT and WAPO isn't biased. The editorial stuff is, but that's the nature of editorials.

You know what editors do? They determine what gets reported and what gets ignored, what gets the front page and what gets page four.

So admitting the editorials are biased in favor of liberals means admitting the presentation and content of the "news" is biased as well.

All editorial pages of every newspaper ever published have had a bias in one direction or another. It's why the pages are called Editorial or Opinion.

What gets put on the front page is what sells papers, regardless of ideology.

Ideology determines the target market.

The 2008 one was completely accurate. We had elected the first black president. What's biased about saying that a racial barrier fell?
