1,090,343 voted cast. The right wing blog you are getting this from....I'm sure they are normally a paragon of accurate information....claims that 1,115, 664 votes were cast with only 1,001,000 voters. He says he got this from a FOI act request.

Forgive me for being skeptical, but I'm sure if this is the truth, he will take this to a higher authority than his blog.

Go look at how many ballots Kansas threw out when you're done reading his blog.

I'm a little more hesitant to call people "stupid" on faith-based matters. I believe, as you get older, you HOPE there's something else because you know your time here is limited. If faith makes you feel more secure, good for you. You might be in that category eventually.

Bah, maybe not stupid, but certainly not smart. I would hope that as you get older, you get a little wiser about the ways of the world. If you don't understand finance, LEARN, read a book, attend some free seminar at the senior center, talk to a rich friend, ask your kids (who probably make more than you did)...

But don't watch TV for info. And certainly don't listen to someone who tells you that God will punch your ticket to the pearly gates if you cough up your life savings...

I'm not sure you understand Christian faith, chinaman.

I'm not saying they're smart, I'm saying they're being scammed and just don't see it because they're hoping for something better in the days to come. Kind of like buying a lottery ticket. Buying a lottery ticket isn't the best investment for your future but there's a reason there is a lottery. Because people buy the tickets.
