English your 2nd language carzy? You seem to be placing incorrect meaning on words. "this Russian thing" could mean the fact Comey lied to him about being investigated, the pace at which the entire thing was going, the amount of leaks about the situation, or about a million other things. It certainly is a far cry from saying "I told him stop the investigation or get fired.".

Come on Liberals, this is getting tiresome. Quit the freakin' whining and accusations and provide facts! At best for you this boils down to the word of a recently fired employee against the word of his former boss. We all know how that turns out 100% of the time. We do still require actual proof in this Country (at least for another 3.5 years).

Moronic insults get you nowhere. The guardian picked out one sentence, which didn't state what you wish it did, in an interview. I don't know the context but I do know "Did you fire Comey due to the Russian investigation?" will meet a "No" response(if it gets that far and I doubt it will). And that single sentence will not be nearly enough evidence to even bring on a charge let alone a conviction.

Not disputing Trump's ability to fire Comey, he can. But I will take issue with the whole "Dems wanted him fired before, now they're hypocrites" argument.

Comey ****** up when he release that letter about Weiner's computer and "new" emails days before the election. It was probably enough of a difference maker to swing the election in Trump's favor. Had Obama, right then, or Trump, immediately after the inauguration, fired him. No one would be complaining. But that isn't what happened. Trump only fired Comey after Comey wouldn't shut down the Russia investigation. That's a problem.
