Yeah, I'll disagree. Don't tell me you're increasing police presence after a terrorist attack but don't be alarmed.
Don't tell me how your planning and preparation saved the day when I said dead bodies and injured people strewn about the street.

You're arguing just to argue.

Whether or not you personally would be alarmed by the police presence or would have preferred him to say something else isn't the point. The "don't be alarmed by this" part of the statement was clearly referring to the police presence.

Trump took it out of context. Probably on purpose but there's also a decent chance that he's just too stupid to get it.
Don't brag about preparation when you have bodies strewn about the streets. Don't use the word "consequence" when referring to the rescue efforts. You had ALL NIGHT to compose a comforting, reasonable statement (or an angry threatening message), and that's what you come up with? A self-congratulatory pat on the back for your preparedness? HOW ABOUT PREVENTING THE EVENT IN FIRST PLACE?!

An increased police presence is alarming. It's increased for a reason. How many times do I have to say this? Is there a better way so you'll understand?

Again, whether or not you agree with the statement is irrelevant. The mayor was telling people not to be alarmed by "this."

"This" was the increased police presence.
Maybe the people want to be alarmed and want the mayor to be alarmed as well... They all SHOULD be. Maybe the people are sick and tired of hearing their politicians say don't be alarmed, all is well, when it's clearly not. That's what Trump is taking about. WHAT ARE OUR POLITICIANS 'DOING' TO ERADICATE THE THREAT? IT'S TIME TO MOVE PAST JUST 'WORDS'.

I don't need to know why to know that an increased police presence is reason to be on alert. Something has happened, is happening or will happen. I'm not interested. In this case, I KNOW a terrorist attack occurred. I'd KNOW, if it was preventable, it would have been prevented. I also KNOW that another could happen any moment. All of this is alarming.

Give me your message. Don't tell me not to be alarmed.

It could be alarming. If it made you think another attack was happening, you'd be alarmed.

But if you knew that the increased police presence was precautionary only, like how there is increased police presence when the President comes to town, you would not be alarmed. Or, at least, you wouldn't be as alarmed as you would be if you didn't know what was going on.

And, again, the point is Trump purposely took the statement out of context.
You're taking Trump out of context.

Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!

The excuse is that the mayor has NO PLAN to stop these attacks, only to react once the damage is done. What is he proactively doing to stop another Ariana Grande or London Bridge massacre from happening? Trump's whole point is at least Trump's trying to stop people that want to harm this country from getting into the country via a border wall and travel ban, yet like London, our politicians are too PC to actually take on terrorism.... Until that happens it's only going to get worse.

Just last week everyone in London was told to be alarmed that another attack was imminent.

The fact that you're worried about a tweet from Trump and not terrorist attacks is alarming.
