Watergate took almost two years from the date of the Woodward/Bernstein story to Nixon's resignation. 10/72 -> 8/74
Yeah, but a crime had actually been committed on day one.
And Trump is under criminal investigation. The FBI thinks he might have committed a crime.
It's not a crime to speak with Russians. It's not even a crime to collude with Russians.
Not a crime to speak with Russians. It is a crime to obstruct an investigation into you or your campaign's actions regarding Russia.

Why did Kushner try to communicate with Russia outside US intelligence?
It's not a crime to obstruct an investigation into you or your campaigns actions regarding Russia if there's NO CRIME committed by you or your campaigns actions regarding Russia.

Is kushner required to communicate with Russia though US intelligence?

And nobody is obstructing anything. The lawyers are doing their thing they always do to limit access to information that can be used against their client. How is anything different here than with Hillary and her illegal servers?

You don't see the problem there?

It's perfectly ok to have back-channel communications with another government. That's essential to every administration. What's not OK is going to Russian soil (which is what the embassy is) and trying to use their system to communicate so that you can talk to Russia without anyone in the US knowing about it.

(Joke was on him since US intelligence had already breached the Russian system)
Is that a crime?

trying to apply pressure on Comey to end the investigation and then firing him when he refused is obstruction.
Good luck making that stick. Ha ha ha!

It wasn't Trump that recommended he be fired. Remember the letters from Rosenstein and Sessions? Why do you think they wrote those letters?

The house Intel committee just subpoenaed Susan Rice, Samantha Powers and John Brennan for the unmasking of Trump officials.

Mike Flynn, as well as Michael Cohen, longtime Trump attorney, were subpoenaed to appear regarding the Russian meddling.

In other news, Hillary blames misogyny, the broke DNC and Russia for her loss.

Will she ever accept that no one likes or trusts her?

A dude on a golf course told me he heard Bill say "I'm glad that ***** lost. She's a ******* nightmare to live with already."

Credible source according to taint.

I think it violates the Logan act.

Has anyone ever been prosecuted under the Logan Act?

No, but plenty of people have been mentioned in relation to it and at least one was indicted.

The indictment was way back in 1803, four years after the law was put in place.

Lol. 1803!!!!

"I take responsibility for every decision I made, but that's not why I lost."

Perhaps Donna Brazile didn't leak enough debate answers. Or bend Bernie over far enough. Or whisper in her ear to campaign in Flyover America.

Chardonnay, Hillary?
