What's the motivation there?

What's more likely, there's some sort of massive conspiracy to get Trump out or Trump thought he could talk Comey out of pursuing the investigation?

If in fact he asked then no. Asking for something means the person has a choice in the matter. If however he ordered it then yes it is impeachable. Maybe I am splitting hairs here and that is Mikes job but I think Trump will give us a lot more reasons to call for impeachment

Thing is, it doesn't have to be proven in court. It just has to get to the point where Congress thinks Trump is more harmful to their re-election chances than the backlash from his supporters.
