Not in general but most of the people I know are around my age. There weren't a lot of 54 y/o black men/women doing any of that stuff. The age group that was? Yeah, I'm certainly less comfortable walking past a group of 19-22 y/o black males. Seems pretty normal to me. You see, for days on end, a specific age/race breaking numerous laws in plain sight, you get uncomfortable around that specific age/race if you don't know them. And I can certainly see cops having the same reaction. Except, in their case, they already know they're approaching someone who has broken the law.

So when a bunch of white people riot after a team wins a championship, you're more uncomfortable around white people?

Or are you just racist against blacks?

I have a feeling you have always been uncomfortable around young black males, regardless of rioting.

I look at it this way:

The same cop pulls over two identical white hondas. The driver of car A is black and the driver of car B is white. Both drivers behave exactly the same way. If the cop is more afraid of the black driver and therefore more likely to shoot the black driver, that's a problem, even if the shooting is justified.

It's the unsolvable problem. The racism isn't explicit. The cop isn't a KKK member, that would be easy to deal with. It's subliminaly entrenched.
You forgot to mention that nearly twice as many whites are killed by cops in any given year than blacks killed by cops.
Well, that makes sense since there are twice as many whites as blacks in America...wait...

Was wondering when you'd play the race card.

I was the only white guy, maybe one of two some seasons, on a baseball team for years in my teens/early 20s. I knew those guys. Didn't bother me because none of them were trashing cop cars, burning businesses and screaming "Burn this mother down!!!" before/after games. Or between games. Or, as far as I know, at all.

So maybe your assumption is wrong.

This is a discussion about racism. There is no "race card." You asked if rioting made me uncomfortable around blacks. I said no. You said it did for you.

My assumption is that none of the blacks I might walk by on the street and none of the blacks you might walk by on the street were involved in violence. I guess your assumption is that they were???

Well, since I don't live anywhere where there are riots, I would assume not. But I'd rather not find out if they're seeking "justice" for their "brothers in STL" or wherever. I'm more alert of my surroundings. Much like if I was wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, I'd be more cautious around skinny white dudes wearing black and masks.

I wish I was more like you and knew no one would possibly threaten my, or my family's, safety. Must be a great life.

You didn't answer this.
I would certainly avoid mid-20s white males after championships. Without question. But I don't think they'd beat me because I was white. Maybe old. Maybe just in the way. Maybe because I said "Stop that, you young whipper-snapper!!!"

And this gets to the core of the problem. Let's say you're a cop. You don't consider yourself racist but you admitted that seeing black people riot makes you uncomfortable around young black males. You're uncomfortable around all young black males you don't know, even the millions who were not in any way involved in riots. Now all young black males are more likely to be shot by you, MikeT23, the uncomfortable cop.
Yep. Because I see unruly young, black men breaking laws in plain sight. I'd certainly be more wary of them when alone.

But, as you say, seeing a specific race/age group rioting doesn't perpetuate the problem, right?

It's not that no one would possibly threaten you, it's that you shouldn't evaluate a possible threat based on nothing other than race.
I gave two examples, one in this specific post, of when I'd avoid young, white males.

I'll ask a question I asked the other day. Do you even read other's posts or just reply to what you think/hoped they said?
