If BL really cared about Muslim refugees he'd volunteer to have them live in his home. He hasn't. Until then it's NIMBY. Why hasn't he opened his doors and his wallet?

Of course. Just like you would segregate all blacks to save your kid.

The problem is it's an impossible if. No amount of vetting can prevent all attacks. We balance the need for safety with the need for liberty.
