its funny how whenever someone says something Trump and/or his supporters don't like, its fake news.
On the other hand, if they get caught in a lie, its alternative facts.
Looks like Republicans are starting to win some ground back in the war on words!!! Democrats have been winning that war for a couple decades now. Trump fights like a democratic which is why he's torching them now.

"Republican strategist Steve Schmidt has blasted the Trump administration, pointing to an "unprecedented" level of "incompetence" during President Trump's first few weeks in office.

“None of this is normal,” Schmidt, a top official in former President George W. Bush’s White House, told The Washington Post for a story published Monday.

“The incompetence, the sloppiness and the leaking is unprecedented," he said."

"Fake News", at least to my mind, is when the media attempts to BLOW UP an insignificant occurrence into a major news story (e.g. Trump ducks reporter questions again) This was the SECOND "Top Story" on CNN just now... Really? A president who doesn't answer misleading questions shouted from across a crowded room?!?! Shocker!

"Alternative facts" are facts that don't fit into the media's "Fake News". For example, if CNN says "Trump ducks reporter questions again", and someone else says "CNN reporter shouts stupid ******* question along with 20 others as President enters room, gets ignored"... that's an alternative fact. Both statements, in context, are factual, but one is what the media is trying to portray, and one isn't.

But there’s been a lot of lying, Julie. And - there’s been a lot of lying, there’s been lying about who you talk to, and by lots of people and almost inevitably and invariably, they were lying about talking to the Russians, about something. It’s too much lying and too much Russia and too much smoke. And now they’re investigating. Where are we in this thing?

Was this Tim Tebow? Lot of words, most of them the same, and undoubtedly spoken without pause or breathing.

And when those people are saving way more than $1000 in premiums and lower deductibles they won't even miss that credit.
LOL.

"The people who stand to lose the most in tax credits under the House Republican health plan tended to support Donald J. Trump over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, according to a new Upshot analysis.

Over all, voters who would be eligible for a tax credit that would be at least $1,000 smaller than the subsidy they’re eligible for under Obamacare supported Mr. Trump over Hillary Clinton by a seven-point margin.

The voters hit the hardest — eligible for at least $5,000 less in tax credits under the Republican plan — supported Mr. Trump by a margin of 59 percent to 36 percent."

BTW, I read the full article. Basically, this falls under "Fake News" because this is the New York Times matching two disparate surveys to create a narrative that may or may not be factually true. They didn't actually check to see that the two data sets correlated beyond the demographics or that the data sets actually intersected at some point. In essence, their process was "Some old people might pay more depending on how much Obamacare they were using" and correlated that with "Lots of old people voted for Trump" and built a ******, faux-journalism "story".

And dumbasses like Bad_Luck quoted it because it supported their view, even when it's complete garbage.

Because he's a dumbass.

Speaking of drinking Kool-Aid, watch the liberals quote HuffPost and the NYTimes and act like it's gospel.

Try employing some critical thinking.

Except there's no alternative to a fact. Well, other than a lie.

"Trump ducks question," is an opinion. "Trump did not answer a specific question," is a fact.

"Trump's inaugural crowd was much smaller than Obama's," is a fact.

"The size of Trump's inaugural crowd was record setting," isn't an alternative fact. It's a lie.

Coming from the great Quagmire administration this is a compliment. It means Trump is doing something right!!!

If Trump was doing things as NORMAL I'd be concerned. I'm proud every time I hear the word UNPRECEDENTED. It's what Trump was voted in office to be!!!

War on words.... Libs think they own facts. The problem is they treat speculation as fact and now no one trusts them because Trump is calling them out. The alternative facts move was awesome. It highlights the FACT that libs have been making up facts. For instance, I can spin any statistic to prove a point.... That doesn't make it fact.... Unless I'm a liberal. Thank God I'm not though cause I like winning!!! And that's a fact!!!

Two Palm Beach aviation companies complained because Trump is in Mar-a-lago too much therefore all Palm Beach businesses are complaining.... irrefutable FACT.
