I know Amazon is. Alexa listens to everything we say in our kitchen/family room.
"Sorry, Alexa doesn't understand what you mean by 'peg me harder, ******* it!'"
Just curious, is there another setting for Alexa in case someone in the house is actually named "Alexa"?

Yep. You can change the settings so that she will respond to "Amazon" or (for the Trekkies) "Computer".

Our Echo Dot is next to our TV. My wife was recently watching a movie where one of the characters was named Alexa. It kept waking up and confusing the Echo.

Can you change it to "HAL" or "R2"? Now THAT would be cool....

She is programmed to give some "easter egg" responses.

"Alexa, open the pod bay doors"

"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that. I'm not HAL, and we're not in space".

"The people who stand to lose the most in tax credits under the House Republican health plan tended to support Donald J. Trump over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, according to a new Upshot analysis.

Over all, voters who would be eligible for a tax credit that would be at least $1,000 smaller than the subsidy they’re eligible for under Obamacare supported Mr. Trump over Hillary Clinton by a seven-point margin.

The voters hit the hardest — eligible for at least $5,000 less in tax credits under the Republican plan — supported Mr. Trump by a margin of 59 percent to 36 percent."

So you're saying lots of people will be getting less of my and other people's tax money to pay for their healthcare!! HELL YES!!!

Donald Trump doesn't see color.... Remember. Stop putting people into categories. Liberals, lol.

And when those people are saving way more than $1000 in premiums and lower deductibles they won't even miss that credit.

"Trump Is Already Betraying the White Working Class

His economic policies, like a potential tax on imports from Mexico, would most hurt the very voters he claims to champion."

Just look at the way your article is worded and tell me there's no bias.... "Already Betraying"

Oh my.... He's so deceitful and he's going behind everybody's backs especially the people that put him in office!!

Find out what can kill you in your own home... STAY TUNED!!!

I don't see how you can say a lot of what he is doing hurts the people he claims to champion.
He said he'd build the wall and Mexico would pay for it. His idea of Mexico paying for it is taxing Mexican imports which means Americans who buy those Mexican imports are actually paying for it.
The proposed replacement for the Affordable Care Act will give tax breaks to the wealthy and higher health insurabce to the lower and middle class.

its funny how whenever someone says something Trump and/or his supporters don't like, its fake news.
On the other hand, if they get caught in a lie, its alternative facts.

"Then came today. Smith saw fit to cover the story of former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s Justice Department filing disclosing that he’d done $530,000 of lobbying work during the 2016 campaign that “may have aided the Turkish government”, according to an Associated Press scoop. Flynn was fired from the Trump administration after misleading Vice President Pence about his contacts with the Russian ambassador to the United States before the inauguration.

In introducing AP reporter Julie Bykowicz, who contributed to the scoop, Smith went off:

Julie, the White House says, ‘Ah, he was a private citizen at the time.’ But there’s been a lot of lying, Julie. And - there’s been a lot of lying, there’s been lying about who you talk to, and by lots of people and almost inevitably and invariably, they were lying about talking to the Russians, about something. It’s too much lying and too much Russia and too much smoke. And now they’re investigating. Where are we in this thing?

From the looks of things, Smith doesn’t share the qualms of other news outlets with respect to the appropriateness of a certain inflammatory one-syllable English word."
