What are Democrats going to do when Trump actually brings back REAL jobs? Not part time low wage health and food service jobs like Obama bragged about.
What do you mean by real jobs?

You mean the high paying union jobs Trump has been promising?

That'd be great. The GOP has been fighting to stop unions for decades.
Thanks to b_l for pointing-out exactly what makes Trump a potentially good POTUS. He doesn't give a damn about what "true" Republicans want any more than he does about what true Democrats want. He cares about what the people in this Country need.

Glad to see you're finally coming around.
I just think it's odd that a bunch of people who hated Obama when he proposed public works programs and universal health care now love a guy who is proposing public works programs and universal health care.
Are you really this stupid? Oops, never mind that question. Those people blinded by Political Party affiliation, like you, hate candidates/elected officials simply because of their Party. It has nothing to do with that person's stance on issues or what they have and haven't accomplished.

"Interesting" how you changed the topic of discussion from Unions and jobs to public works and health care. Realize how wrong you once again were?

What? The public works projects are usually union jobs. Remember a bunch of Republicans arguing against them by saying they were a gift to the unions?

I still think public works projects and universal healthcare are good ideas, even if it's Trump pushing those ideas now. I think it's weird that people like you and moy were so anti those ideas when it was Obama presenting them.

I've never been anti-infrastructure.... Just anti-union. I think there are places the government should spend more like infrastructure, national security, and military. I don't think they should be involved in abortion issues, bathroom issues, etc. The states can take care of these issues.

On healthcare, I've always praised Singapore's universal healthcare system. I think the US could learn a lot from it.... Especially automatic payroll deductions going to family pooled HSA accounts that can be used to pay for basic medical services and then some. Obama was proposing nothing of the sort.

"Just anti-union"

Yet you're praising Trump for promising to bring back high paying union jobs.

HSA's are not universal healthcare. If you can't afford health care, saving to pay for health care doesn't work.

I'm totally for right to work so these jobs can be done by non union workers.

You know nothing about Singapore Healthcare. Go look it up. It's universal healthcare. The HSA's are one tier called Medisave. Medishield covers everyone up to 80% iirc. After Medishield, Medisave (self funded), Private insurance, and cash are depleted then Medifund kicks in which is wholly paid for by the government. They have public and private hospitals, and unlike in the US, the public hospitals are competitive with the private hospitals. They are one of the top ranked healthcare systems in the world and they do it for a fraction of the cost than we do.

The reason that auto manufacturing jobs are high paying is because they're union jobs. Otherwise, they'd pay $11 an hour. The reason iron workers get paid a lot is because they are union. Otherwise, they'd make $11 an hour.

Trump is pushing to bring back union jobs. At least that's what he's promising. I don't think he'll do it, though, because he's more concerned with helping rich people.

There you go, like Liberals do, breaking up Americans into categories and then subcategories and then more subcategories before demonizing the ones you don't like. Trump is trying to help ALL people. That's the poor, the middle class, AND the wealthy. That's white AND black, brown, yellow, green, blue. That's men AND women. He's looking PAST these categories with his policies. You laugh when Trump's surrogates say they don't see color.... But those 83% of the counties that put Trump in office understand EXACTLY what they're saying. You'll probably never understand so I'm not going to bother to try and explain.

haha. Way to try to change the subject.

A couple of aviation companies in Palm Beach don't think he's helping ALL people when he spends everyfuckingweekend down there.

Oh, that subject. $11 an hour, really?

Boeing moved it's manufacturing to South Carolina to avoid unions... They pay their SC workers $20+ per hour and including benefits about $80k/yr. Last month there was a vote to become unionized that was heavily shot down. I wonder why, if they'd make so much more in unions.

$11/hr????

He obviously doesn't see the color of those aviation companies.

Um, $20 per hour is not $80k per year. It's about $40k.

You think "votes" to unionize get shot down because workers don't want to unionize or because the company puts pressure on the workers not to do it?

Think about it this way, if workers would NOT earn more as a union, why would Boeing go through all the trouble to move its operation "to avoid unions?"

Um, $20 an hour is not $11 an hour. It's almost double that.

Um, $20 per hour plus BENEFITS is about $80k per year. Reading Comprehension 101.
