Is there a record for + plays in a season listed anywhere? If not I'd like to hear what the most anyone has seen or personally done before. I have a team that after 45 games is on pace for 288, that would blow away anything I've had before, I think my personal best has been in the 220's range and I believe I've seen the 230's before but can't remember anything in the neighborhood of 288.

Catchers don't make + plays. 230 + plays would equate to over 30 + plays per position player (even factoring in pitchers). I've never had anything close to that number.

I've dropped off a little bit but after 58 games I've got 97, that's a 270.9 pace and none are by pitchers
