I complained about that very thing about two pages back (as I was scrapping my 4th rotation member for the second time to draft Jeff Reardon).
I could say it started with the round 2 pick, course I really didn't expect DBacks Randy Johnson to make it past the first round.

I just figured this out. Maybe everyone already doing it, but when searching for players, under season type select full/partial. This eliminates all the combined so you don't accidentally take an ineligible player. And lots times don't even realize guy has a combined year.

Not taking Schilling with the 2nd pick was a tough one. Will probably be a wrong decision on my part.
