My favorite thing about the internet is reading the comments on any website, not just political sites, and to see people saying things to others they would have never said face to face. I love how mean everyone is becoming when they go online. I also love how many parents prefer playing on Facebook rather than spending time with their kids, or their spouse. Pretty cool, huh? The two Facebook execs that recently came out and said they never imagined they could create a website that would **** with billions of people's minds.... They were probably wrong too. Hell I'm playing on the internet and driving right now.... This is so awesome!!!The internet is also an amazing communications device that can spread news in a matter of seconds, and I can communicate with someone across the world with a touch of a keyboard. The internet has allowed for innovation exponentially, and has advanced human society and technology greatly, it has also saved lives and allowed normal people with talent to express themselves! I blame the internet, not you, for cultivating an environment where you can feel comfortable flexing internet muscles behind that screen of yours. I was raised in a time without the internet where it was rude to call someone fn stupid... Even if they are. You also must not have read were I said the internet is great in many ways. As a whole though it's made most people more stupid (3% of people under 35 go to Facebook in an effort to get their news yet 67% of people under 35 get their primary news from Facebook), more depressed (plenty off studies on this), and more addicted to their next dopamine hit (it's like crack!!). I'm looking forward to VR getting so big people won't even leave their homes anymore.... They'll plug in a head set and pretend they're some avatar in some alternate reality digital world, rather than live in the real world. Zuckerberg had said VR is the next big thing. That does not mean that cars are bad.The internet is an addiction for most people.... Addiction disrupts regions of the brain that are responsible for reward, motivation, learning, judgment and memory. Literally. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/4136942And the world is a better place because of it.I guess we'll find out as millennials become more prominent in the workplace and start raising families of their own. They currently spend a lot of time being plugged in to the internet and unlike those generations before them they know nothing else but the internet at their fingertips. This is interesting.... Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 look at their phones most often, with an average of 74 checks per day. Too much internet is bad, like water, but overall the internet is good, like water. You're on a simulated sports website arguing in an awful lot about politics, wasting your time with people who will never change their minds.... Is that a good or a bad thing? Most people spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME on the internet. It's addicting. You're addicted to checking these forums. They check their phones every 13 minutes. Everything on the internet is intended to spike you dopamine levels and measured in jolts per second. It's more like playing Russian roulette every time you log on... "IS THIS THE TIME I BECOME ADDICTED TO SOME PROGRAM?", way moreso than your example of choosing to drink too much water. Water is not attempting to get you hooked. It's a good thing. BEING ADDICTED TO THE INTERNET IS A CHOICE. If you don't want to be on the internet, CHOOSE NOT TO BE ON THE INTERNET. So, if you truly believe this, moy, close up your computer, phone, whatever, throw it away, become amish, and never use the internet again.Lol. You're an addict!!! You'd rather argue with me, who you don't even know, than do ANYTHING else right now.... AND YOU SAY THAT'S A GOOD THING!!! it's called denial, Tang. I happen to enjoy arguing with you. I could quit whenever I want, however I have no motivation to. Checking onto this site, 5-6 times a day for around 2 minutes, is rather enjoyable to me.

Now instead of dealing with 1-2 bullies in school kids can deal with 1000s!!! It's also really great for the identity theft industry.... Was it 150 million people who forfeited their identity in the Experian data breach? That's like 1 out of every 2 Americans!!! You are really fn stupid if you think the internet is bad. You can CHOOSE to make all of the decisions you mentioned.Case in point.... You'd have never called me stupid in person. I'd probably pummel you. 6'3" 215 lbs and in shape. It's ok though. Skyrim just came out with a VR roleplaying game...I hear it's amazing. Those are all CHOICES that people make. You can CHOOSE to crash a car. That does not mean that cars are bad.The internet is an addiction for most people.... Addiction disrupts regions of the brain that are responsible for reward, motivation, learning, judgment and memory. It damages various body systems as well as families, relationships, schools, workplaces and neighborhoods. Look at the studies.... The internet is changing our brains. Literally. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/4136942And the world is a better place because of it.I guess we'll find out as millennials become more prominent in the workplace and start raising families of their own. They currently spend a lot of time being plugged in to the internet and unlike those generations before them they know nothing else but the internet at their fingertips. This is interesting.... Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 look at their phones most often, with an average of 74 checks per day. Americans in the 25-34 age bracket look at their devices 50 times per day, and those between 35 and 44 do so 35 times each day. ^^^ assuming those people between the ages of 18 and 24 sleep 8 hours each night that means on average they are checking their phones once every 13 minutes. ADDICTION.So? Again, this is a GOOD thing. This was good timing. Facebook, which has 2 billion users, just admitted social media is BAD for users mental health. http://www.businessinsider.com/facebook-social-media-bad-for-users-mental-health-2017-12 Is that a GOOD thing?

Facebook, which has 2 billion users, just admitted social media is BAD for users mental health. http://www.businessinsider.com/facebook-social-media-bad-for-users-mental-health-2017-12 Is that a GOOD thing?Spending too much time, is what they said. Water is good for you, but if you drink too much water, you could die. The internet is like water. In the end, it is a choice to get addicted. We have free will. Checking onto this site, 5-6 times a day for around 2 minutes, is rather enjoyable to me.Sad! Addicts usually say they can quit when they want to. It's everyone else that realizes they can't quit.

Now instead of dealing with 1-2 bullies in school kids can deal with 1000s!!! It's also really great for the identity theft industry....
