I am not sure how its not possible.  Returning owners get to choose their slot.... what they think is best for them is up to them to decide.  But none who is returning from the previous season will ever have to pick before their "deserved" or "earned" spot.  I mean its the worse they can do.  The best they can do is move up or back at their personal preference.

I would certainly entertain discussion regarding the rules after the draft on the issue.  But I don;t see how getting your earned spot as a worse case scenario and a better preference spot as a best case scenario is second to better option.  IMO it is the best format of any draft in any sim here (for multi run seasons).

If anyone wants to open a thread to discuss it post draft by all means do so.

No all Im saying is the new people should be put in the middle of the initial drafting order.  So when someone at the bottom chooses closer to 24, they are more likely to get close to that.
