Which is why I suggested that high defensive ratings have a bigger impact on opposing FG%. Right now, most high usage players have less value in the sim than in real life. Just because FG% is currently too high isn't a reason to overlook another problem.

Does pace really affect usage much? It would seem that guys who struggle to create their own shot versus a set, half-court defense would fair better in a faster paced, running type offense.

This might be offset by good creators shooting earlier in the posession though.

Hey guys, what is the usage of rookies? are they considered as 0.5 points? 1 point? etc... Thanks.

not sure but my guess is that it's not worth consideration - in other words if you are playing a rookie for a large enough segment of time that you need to worry about the impact on usage then you're already on board a sinking ship

maybe there's something in FAQ?

from my after-the-league calculations, rookies seem to have a usage generally in the single digits.  Which means probably 0.5 points, if at all.

which is to say noobs can come in here and learn more about wis-nba than just usage - they can also see admin in (in-)action throughout the length of this thread along with certain choice customer comments and in ash's case the loss of innocence moment where he went from apologist to I cant believe they're right
