Still surprised there aren't more folks in League 4. Yeah, there's a couple of mediocre WW2 teams, but you've got Musial's only World Series clubs here, along with those great Cardinal pitching staffs, some of DiMaggio's best seasons, Ted Williams, Pete Reiser, Jackie Robinson, Bob Feller and Bob Lemon, Spahn/Sain/Rain, there is a lot of great baseball in this era!

I’m not sure I understand why the era will matter. Each league will be its own entity anyway, and you have no drafting decisions. This is old-school replay baseball that I grew up with.

I will take a few more teams. Put me down for Leagues 1, 2 and 4 please.

In case anyone is just checking this out, you are NOT at a disadvantage by being one of the last owners to sign up for any of the remaining 6 leagues. Teams are assigned randomly, which means whoever takes that final spot in League 2 has the same chance of getting the 1927 Yankees as everyone else...same thing for the other leagues. My personal pick as the greatest single-season team of all time is the 2018 Red Sox - that league is still up for grabs too...

My pick for the 2nd greatest single-season team is the 1939 Yankees - they're in league 3, and that league is open.

I suggest you set a "roster set" date near the end of the season (NOT at the 120 game mark). Take a look at the pitching staff of the 2024 Dodgers. Very good team obviously. However they had no "bulk" starters, and they shuttled in and out so many low inning pitchers (a lot of 30 -50 IP guys). In order for that team to function realistically, you'll need a roster set date near the end of the season. There's probably a few other modern teams in the same boat.

Transaction deadline is G159, in all leagues, for exactly that reason.
