Happy with my squad - invite commentary from the savants on here - we like def, reb and sharing the ball

PG - Buckner-Art Williams-Wohl
SG - Riordan-(Player to be named - possibly the HAWK)
SF - HAWK-Tolson
PF - Barnes-George L Johnson (or Fox)
C - Cowens-Fox

I invite feedback - criticism doesn't bother me - I like the NBA and like to learn
I haven't added the assists up, but doesn't look like a lot of passers.

Outside of open leagues I have observed that assists are the least important statistic.

The draft is not quite over, but it is for my team. We have our 12. Guys, I haven't had so much fun for quite a while as I did with this draft. I feel I learned a lot just from the start of the draft 9 days ago until now. I will not likely come into this league full of hall of famer owners and win 60 games right away, but I hope to be at least over .500 here, and 50 wins would be awesome.

I look forward to being in any and all versions of this league that come along in the future. Lots of names of players that I hadn't thought about in 45+ years.

Big Fan---Cowens and you may have drafted the best of all GM's at the PG position, especially for the rounds in which you got them.
Fan--Tolson was a great pick in the 9th (I wanted him)
Just OK---Johnson, Riordan, Fox
Not a Fan---Hawk and Barnes---I think you are going to be disappointed. IMO, 2nd Round, Tomjanovich, Parish, or Buse would have been much better picks than Barnes. In the 3rd, imo, I personally love Debusschere but would have taken quite a few other players b4 Hawk including Hudson, Gus Williams, Clifford Ray, ML Carr....

Hawkins would be a great pick in the 60s. He was awesome in the ABA in 67-68 and 68-69, but he dropped off tremendously in 69-70 when he went to the NBA.

Not really, it's just that because there's no salary cap the bench can be guys who were real life starters with a lot of minutes and thus, higher salaries. I have one guy over 10 million and 5 guys at 7 million plus. one just under 7 million, one just under 6 million, a 5+, a 4+, a 3+ and a 2+
