I had to keep checking to make sure he hadn't been picked yet

I was torn between Pippen, Xxxxxx and Hakeem and then there was D Wade who I thought of for a second, but then excluded him from the discussion immediately...
So what I don't get is why is D Wade always picked so high in these leagues? I understand his defense is amazing, and that he has some other virtues (mins, ast%, solid treb%...you can say high usg) but his efg/usg combo really kills your team efficiency, doesn't it? You can also say that his best version is somewhat turnover prone and he also kills your 3pt%...those are big flaws imo. Can someone explain it to me? Has anyone ever won with Wade in this format? :)

P.S. Not that Hakeem is extremely efficient, but still...just like him more as a "go to guy".

Regarding patricije's question on Wade:
Even though I'd probably never draft him, owners usually do well with him. He eFG% is really his only flaw, he is pretty elite elsewhere. (Also, his top three seasons have TO% of 11%, 13% and 15% which range from good to okay... so I wouldn't say TO prone).

It seems I must start looking at to% rather than toper48...I find annoying that we don't have that stat on this site...

You can still use TO48. Just think about it a little differently... TO48 of 4.5 with a usage of 30, not bad! TO48 with a usage of 10, not good!

Still, it's pretty hard to measure it precisely when you don't have the exact %. For example, now I took time to compare Wade and Hakeem and was really surprised to see Hakeem is actually more turnover prone than D Wade, although his toper48 is 0.4 lower than Wade's in both players' best seasons (in terms of salary)...Interesting... from now on I will defenitely have to pay that external site visit more often, shouldn't be lazy. :)
