Yeh, you can't drain the swamp by hiring different swamp people.
I don't see businessmen and women as swamp people... I see them as people with experience running a PROFITABLE endeavor. For too long lifetime politicians have made a habit of spending other people's money, without any consequence or accountability. It's these people that need to leave DC. It's the congressmen that voted 60 times to repeal Obamacare when it didn't matter and caved when it did matter.

I love that Trump fired Flynn, why? Because Flynn LIED to his face... Not because the media pressured Trump to do so. I love that Price was fired for abusing tax payer money. Prior Administrations had no issue with using tax payer money on private jets... even when caught prior Administrations wouldn't hold anyone accountable... Trump did hold Price accountable. It's a culture of accountability (when you peel away the media spin) that Trump is creating.

He's called out McConnell for saying Trump doesn't understand Washington DC and has unrealistic expectations of congress to move quickly. He's called out Republicans for having 8 years to fix Oblundercare and not having a plan.

Honestly, look at the people Trump has brought in.... Can you show me how they benefited financially from their position in his cabinet? Can you point out specifics like Russia gets 20% of us uranium at the same time a family member gets $500k speaking fees and $145 million is deposited to the family foundation? I can't.
I know that facts don't matter to you, but the uranium deal was above board and Clinton had no say in whether or not the sale of the private company was approved. She wasn't even on the committee that approved the sale. And the State Dept was one of NINE agencies that had to sign off on the deal.

Also, all but $4 million of the $145 million came from Frank Guistra and he sold all of his stake in the Uranium One company 18 months before Clinton became SOS and three years before Russia bought it.

DEAR BL:

Who was on the committee?
What or Who were the other 8 agencies?
Why was Bill Clinton getting such MASSIVE AMOUNTS of $$$$$$$$$ for doing NOTHING?
Why was his pretend wife SECRETARY OF STATE at the EXACT SAME TIME he got $$$$$$$$$?
Why didn't the media throw a **** fest of investigation into this obvious criminal activity?
Where is the money? Has anybody followed it?
What is the status of the CLINTON FOUNDATION?
What happened to the HAITI money?
Will tomorrow suddenly shine a light on all the money that passed through the foundation?
Why did the Foundation suddenly decide to disband? They told us they were doing great work.

IF you don't understand this.........you will never understand anything.

Yep. The facts are just starting to come out.

Unlike the Russia collusion probe into the Trump campaign that had zero and still has zero evidence that any crime was even close to being committed.

BL: WHERE THERE'S SMOKE THERE'S FIRE!!!

You know when you're using doug to back up your argument, **** is falling apart.

The facts are not "just starting to come out." They are out. They've been out. There's nothing there.

Dear Tang:

WE thought you said he DIDN'T have control over his staff.
IF he controls the Senate, then why doesn't he always get 52 votes?
He kinda controls the House, but this next election the VOTERS need to primary out a good 50 or so MODERATE-LIB-RINOs.
IF HE controls the Supreme Court, why haven't they just gone and proclaimed him emperor for life?

AND ONE OTHER THING: Did you unblock me? You keep talking to me. It's OK if you did. I don't have anybody blocked.
Seriously? My point was that the fact that the GOP has the MAJORITY in everything means that it is only incompetence to blame for why DT has alienated everyone, including members of his own party.
And my point is HE DOESN'T HAVE THE MAJORITY.

He's out there on his own with only the American people to support him.
More people are republicans in the senate than democrats.
10/27/2017 6:56 PM
And to answer doug:

The State Dept was represented by Jose Fernandez
The other agencies were:
Treasury (head of committee)
Defense
Commerce
Energy
Homeland Security
Office of the Attorney General
Office of US Trade
Office of Science and Tech Policy

After that committee approved the deal, it had to be approved by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Utah State Nuclear Regulator.

For the conspiracy to be correct, all of those agencies would have to be in on it, there would need to be some other payoff other than the $145M (since $141M of that came years before the deal was struck), and there would have to be something wrong with the deal itself.

Obummercare was supposed to save us $2500 a year and we'd be able to keep our doctor if we liked our doctor. Neither happened and you think that's Trump's fault?

Was it Trump's fault that insurers have been leaving the exchange for the last 3-4 years now?

Unfortunately or fortunately, running the government is not the same as running a business. When Trump runs his business he doesn't have to answer to anyone but himself. He tries to run the government the same way, but he does have people to answer to. Those people are the American public.

Trump holds people accountable? Well, maybe, but not if its himself. He's accountable to no one.

You don't see anything Trump has done or said as anything wrong. Personally I take your opinions on Trump very lightly. If you even once admitted Trump did or said something wrong, it would be different.

How can you say that? Where's your evidence? I work with local government... Many of the village managers i work with are running government like a business these days.

When did he ditch them? He's never not signed anything they put on his desk. He tweeted they need to get it done and he'll sign it. McCain is the jackass that stopped the process, not Trump.
