About a week ago he said he might impose big sanctions on Russia. People knew it was a choreographed stunt to throw people off the trail.
Not another word. If he does anything it will be a Russia approved token.

The war goes on because Ukraine refuses to allow Trump to bully them into surrender. Zelensky had grandparents in concentration camps. He will not surrender to the Russian Nazis or our Nazis.

If Trump gives them any weapons it will also be token.

If Trump really did arm Ukraine or sanction Russia the response would really be something to observe.

I am always interested in studying how horrible things in present time could have been averted by understanding the precedents that should be learned from history.

And it is fascinating to me to see how it only takes one person or a small group to influence the birth of gigantic ( tens of millions or hundreds of millions or more ) cults.

Regarding MAGA what is evident is that they know about Hitler and Stalin and Mussolini and Putin and Kim etc.
They do not ignore them. The sad truth is that they approve of a dictatorship government. MAGA is made up of highly antisocial people. Violent and racist and ignorant and antisemitic etc - not all but most- the rest flat out ignorant and selfish.

All dumb because only monumentally dumb morons would endorse dictatorship for their government.

Bottom line - do not not not not expect MAGA people to suddenly embrace democracy. We are talking about an inferior brand of persons. Some of which ( not all - some are just dumb and or selfish ) might turn on Trump strictly because of how his policies are affecting their own households. Democracy will still not be a concern.

No matter what they are still happiest with a dictatorship. Some people sad to acknowledge desire and need a dictatorship.

And all of this moves us forward in understanding how Hitler gained and kept power and all of the others in various countries then and now.

Sometimes reality and truth sucks. Actually sometimes the human nature of the lowest strata of people really sucks.
