Wow. I can agree with your last two policies.

As to the "wall"......... if you start thinking about what works......... rather than some stupid slogan........... and get to where your "wall" is real time 100% visual capability------ the ability to see ANY specific point at any specific time along the border------------- THEN you'd be talking something worthwhile. The present physical barrier idea is a joke!! Can't be done. Have you ever been along the SW border? Know what erosion (from summer monsoons) and washes are all about?? Likely not. A physical "wall" would have gaping chasms going underneath the wall in a matter of a few seasons!
You're hung up on the word 'wall'. I don't care if it's thick as hell double fencing ... There needs to be a barrier there. Mentally it would deter people from even attempting to Chris the border. That's important too.
You know there is a fence there, right?

^^^BUILD THE WALL!!!
Exactly what I am talking about.... Is this really a good thing?
Of course it is. It will help reduce illegal drug trafficking, child trafficking, and the flow of illegal Immigration. It doesn't cost all that much either. Even at $22 billion that would be the equivalent of we paid to fight for 2 months in the Iraq war.

Why wouldn't it be a good thing? Because it offends Mexico and a bunch of libs? Good lord, feelings are for sissies.
No, because illegal immigration is maybe a GOOD thing, and a wall won't stop illgals.
Lol... Illegal ANYTHING is not a good thing. It's BREAKING THE LAW!!!! And how will a wall not stop illegals? That's a ridiculous argument.
There's thing thing called an airplane. It goes over walls. There is also this thing called overstaying a visa. There is also this thing called tunnels.
Weak argument. So a wall can't stop ALL of them so we shouldn't do it? Why bother putting a fence around the White House since clearly it doesn't stop everyone from getting though? Why bother putting a fence around a garden since maybe a bunny or two will still get in. Why bother putting a door on your house because I could easily break it down. Why bother putting locks on cars when windows can be broken.

It's really more like half would be stopped by the wall, maybe less. And your comparisons are weak because there is less cost to doing those things than building a wall. I would be all for it if it did not cost taxpayer money that could be going to public benefits. If we are going to spend years building the wall, it has to serve it's purpose better than 50%.
What do you mean 'half'? Half of what?

We don't even know how many illegals are pouring over the southern border. We only know of the ones that get caught which is about 400,000 a year.

Also a wall would cost less than what we spent to find the Iraq war for 2 months.

Don't forget it will reduce illegal drug trafficking and human trafficking.... Or since it won't stop ALL of this illegal activity you don't want it?
We think that the wall will only prevent at the most half of illegal immigration to the united states. I am not saying that it is BAD to build a wall, I am just saying that the resources and cost is too much.

Your comparison is meaningless. It's a lot of money no matter what.

So you think only 100,000 are getting through the southern border every year without the USA knowing and 400,000 are getting apprehended? Seems low considering I keep hearing there are 11+ million illegals in the USA. Don't you think?

I would think if we are catching 400,000 a year we probably would have stopped MORE with a bigger, better, longer wall.... maybe 800,000 a year, probably more? I mean a wall is WAY MORE EFFECTIVE than no wall. With no wall we have documented felons like Steinle's murderer deported 6 times before he killed her. Its not THAT hard to cross the border these days. Look at the MS-13 #s and you'll see that.

So how much is half? Give me a number and we'll do the math.
Let's say 500,000 is whole, so 250,000 is half, sound fair?

It would not be jard to get OVER a wall. Step 1 Get a VISA Step 2. Fly over the wall Step 3 Overstay your visa. I used a conservative estimate. Let's use your estimate and do the math.

I will tackle visa overstays later (those have to be applied for)... But for now you said a wall is too expensive and it won't do anything to help. So let's do the math on just the wall. How many people do you think are crossing the border via land (in total) considering we are apprehending about 400,000 illegals a year?

Pretty scary you guys are not only thinking about, but discussing with each other, my butt. I've told you both more than once that I don't believe it that sort of activity, so you two will need to keep playing with yourselves.
you don't believe in that sort of activity? Don't you mean you don't approve of that kind of activity. saying you don't believe in it means you don't think it exists. Based on RCBracco and sjpoker's interest in your butt, you'd have to admit it does exist!
Since you seem to have forgotten since the last time I trashed your ATTEMPTED correction of that phase, please see definition 2, then crawl back in your moron hole and STFU.
