Rittenhouse Update

Testimony has not resumed yet.
The defense has requested a mistrial and the judge could grant it in two ways. The typical is to grant a new trial.
The other is to grant a mistrial with prejudice which means that the prosecution caused a disqualification.

We will get an answer soon.

Not to be forgotten is the Blake Arbury case which is also proceeding.

Other Judicial matters - Waiting for possible expedited decision by the Supreme Court on the Texas cases.
And last but not least - The Mississippi abortion case oral arguments before the Supreme Court is still scheduled for December 1 - just three weeks away.

Testimony has resumed but not with a continuation of the Rittenhouse cross examination - not sure why....possibly because the defense will have to have an expert explain the pixel issue first before that can resume.

Trump Update

the Trump papers go to the select committee unless a circuit court panel grants a stay with expedited hearing next week. There is a less then 50%
chance that will happen.

Japan is at a 40 year high for inflation.

Its almost like, and bear with me here, as the world deals with the winding down of the worst pandemic in 100 years this is happening everywhere. Crazy I know!

Gosar was censored today and his committees were taken away.
All the democrats voted to do it.
Two republicans - Cheney and Kinzincher voted yes.
3 Republicans did not vote and a Republican on the ethics committee voted present.
The rest voted no.
There may yet be a vote for expulsion.
