Alek, you are about to take 2-3 SIMs in a class of 6 when you started with 250K. If you can't fill a class of 6 with 250K, how do you plan to fill a class of 28 with 570K? So you spent 185K on arguably the 15th best DB - You could have secured probably the 25-30th best DB for 12 + 2 other 20-40 best player at a position for an additional 25-30 - You could have then wasted 140K going after your hard headed battle and actually filled your roster

Alek, do you understand what John’s saying? He’s teaching you how to recruit. That’s why he just filled half his roster in one class and will soon be a contender, and you’re coaching a roster of SIMs. As I said already, I think you’re doing it on purpose so I don’t expect you to follow John’s excellent advice

I told him on the other thread about recruiting against PSU with WVU regardless of success would never be an even battle. And he goes and spends all that?! LOL. But he has his charts and knows what he's doing and I don't.

He had 15 and I had 6. He had the edge or push but I set myself up for the bigger class. Just watch.

John is a fraud no matter how big his roster is.

If a recruit is 0 miles away, you bet your a** it’s worth it to me to unleash fury so you know later seasons what it’s going to take to come into WV.

This has to be a bit at this point. Anyone want to take wagers on when Alek wins his 1st conference game - I'll take year 10.

If you have 6 recruits you have an advantage because you have literally 40K per recruit. When someone stacks their classes the advantage isn't in the big class but the 3 smaller classes. Even with playoff money coaches still rarely have over 25K to distribute per recruit. It's never smart to blow 100K+ on a recruit unless he's the number 1 QB or you have nobody else to spend the money on.

Nope, after 100k I said at this point to lose him I’ll just spend the whole things until Penn State loses. Then hopefully I have $3,000 to pick up the remaining 2. But regardless this cycle is unimportant and Penn State is kicking its wound. Penn State can’t afford to have 3 sims in one cycle.

Why can't Penn State afford to have 3 SIMs? He'll still have 47 other players.

He might be ok this year but PSU won’t dare risk another situation. I set the fences, OSU and PSU won’t push us around regardless of our 4 year record.
