LMAO!!! Then how do you explain the fact that i currently have 2 guys considering me in D2 knight who still show up on the D1 search for me. Could it be that i pulled them down
I can explain by saying that my mentor (you) told me.

A question about "off the court" personality traits that are revealed in coach calls.

You say that guys who get "ride the bus" comments or other postive reviews are "Some of the best guys to recruit." However, I've heard other people say that these personality traits are completely irrelevant now that they've done away with "dilemmas."

Based on your experience, what do the personality traits affect in the game? Redshirting? Technical Fouls? Player Development? Anything else?

Redshirting. Who cares if they've raped anyone.

I sent in a ticket to ask admin if the "off the court" comments mean anything. Here is the response:

"Yes - certainly when 'dilemmas' were part of the game (and that feature may be resumed at a later date) but they still play a role when it comes to learning about how a player may react to being redshirted, not living up to promises, leaving early for the NBA, grades, etc."

Were the dilemmas that bad.

My team was really junk. So junk that 2 of the freshmen i recruited are starting. But i have a problem - i offered them both starting positions to get them to sign with me, but they both play center. Am i able to make one of them play PF and if i am are there going to be any consequences?

could anyone help me with that ^^^

That is perfecectly fine. Alot of coaches use pf/c interchangably. Technically a player can play one position from his normal position w/out a penalty. After that the game assess an out-of-position penalty.

Thank you for all of the useful information on here. I have had some problems recruiting in the past. I usually would recruit a good class, followed by a decent, or a poor, I was just very, very inconsistent. I have tried different game plans while recruiting. My most successful has been waiting for drop downs but I just get very antsy and get into recruiting wars. I am, as I assume we all are, very competitive by nature, and I find it VERY DIFFICULT to lose at anything, even a recruiting war. Well, lets see how the advice works out this recruiting period

Any new coach should read OR/Ryan's comments that will give them a great understanding of the game or you could muddle through like a certain coach I know and offer opinions on everything.
