Sequestration is forcing budget cuts which many have supported...and now some of you are ******** because you don't like what was cut? Boo effin' hoo!

A tour of the White House is not something in the Constitution is it?

It's not the tour of the WH being canceled that's the problem.  That was a petty "cut" designed to say "See?  The Republicans are hurting YOU!!!"

It's just bullshit.  Which is how our government works.

And I'm in complete agree with taint on Rand Paul.   More bullshit.


The fact that Obama supporters can't see the problems, and why they exist, is laughable.

What part of "across the board spending cuts" don't you understand? This must be shocking to dipshits like yourself but reducing government spending effects government services.

Did you hear about the 21 person dinner last night?    Why wasn't that cut?   Do you think a bottle of wine and a steak will clear up the congressional logjam?   I imagine Obama's limo/security costs for that dinner, which could have been held IN THE WHITE HOUSE, would have funded a summer of WH tours.

It must be even more shocking to dumbfucks like you to suddenly find out the government ****** away 1 day of WH tour costs every couple of minutes on some other bullshit expense.

The simple fact of the matter is that the Administration needed the public to FEEL the cuts immediately.

Perhaps you missed Obama's doomsday proclamations leading up to the sequester before he quickly backed off and said it may take months for the public to feel the pain of the cuts.

The cuts should be specific and targeted.  There should be some intelligent thought behind them.  Perhaps that's asking too much from this President and this Congress.

Indiscriminate cuts can be stupid.  "Across the board" is indiscriminate, and therefore stupid.

The problem with the sequestration cuts were that they were supposedly designed to be so onerous that nobody would want to allow them to occur.  Then Obama did absofuckinglutely nothing to try to prevent them from occurring.  That's a failure of leadership.

Well, the house passed a bill to repeal the sequester. But then that bill was filibustered by Repubs in the senate. So there's that. It doesn't all fall on Obama.
