My Walter has hit a major road block. 40 games in he was 15-3, and has gone 2-4 in his last 9 appearances.

Doesn’t look like Bounty 1 is gonna happen for me. 13 starts remaining apiece and I’m at 42 & 38. Goes to show how hard this one is - my team is 101-35 with 66 starts apiece from them already and I’m still not gonna make it.

Bounty 2 seems impossible. I’m currrntly in an OL littered with first time managers playing in Coors, and I didn’t make my best HR team but it’s pretty close, and I’m only on track for like 450 myself.

If that’s the consensus on bounty 2, I’m willing to adjust downward. I was basing it off of numbers I’d previously seen and even off of the champs league record pages. I want these to be challenging, but obtainable.

The more I think about it, it seems possible. I could certainly swap out a few guys to get to 500+ myself and the wins are no problem. I might get to 60 before the break so there's a lot of wiggle room to give up more homers and still have a decent team.

I did modify bounty 2 downward slightly for option 2 after conversing with a few others about the difficulty there

They're not supposed to be easy after all!

There's three HR oriented teams in a league I'm in right now. None of them are optimizing their HRs and yet all three are still tracking to hit 300+ and all allow between 50-100. Looking at their rosters it would be easy to squeeze another 150+ HRs from them and they could easily allow another 100+ without sacrificing any competitiveness.

Casey gets W30 at game 100. 30-6, 40QS in 50 starts, 2.72 ERA. Getting 50 looking unlikely but a fine performance nonetheless. Team Name - Serenity Now!

Considering his woeful performance history prior to my picking him up off the floor, I'm mulling over putting together a theme where you'd get points for besting their previous best numbers. Put 25 lots of players in a pool, then use a serpentine draft to build a team. It would take some doing to find the players, but perhaps be quite a challenge. Any interest?

What about this guy? A real journeyman type pitcher. 1927 Ray Kremer. Decent enough numbers for the back half of your rotation, but he has very pedestrian performance numbers:
