Final Status for S132, entering S133:
Fired: Georgia and Arizona
In Jeopardy:
Auburn- Didn't make a bowl, dropped to In Jeopardy, Mike is supposedly leaving this job so it will be vacant.
Temple- Handily lost their L2 bowl to 1st year rebuild Wake Forest, dropped to In Jeopardy.
Notre Dame- Won their L2 bowl and still rightfully dropped to In Jeopardy (cue CFBFan rant).
LTNJ:
Mizzou- Won their L2 bowl and stayed at LTNJ.
North Carolina- Won their L2 bowl and finished #35, stayed at LTNJ.
Cincinnati- Won their L2 bowl, stayed at LTNJ.
Wisconsin- Won their L3 bowl and stayed at LTNJ.
Minnesota- Lost their L3 bowl, but still finished #25 and rose to Secure. Some justice there after a few seasons of getting screwed in status.
FSU- Finished 4-9 and dropped to LTNJ. Will be very hard to maintain this status or improve after these first 2 seasons.
Maryland- Went 8-5 incuding a loss to a SIM and a win over FSU, didn't make a bowl because they were ranked #73.
Clemson- Went 8-6, won their L1 bowl. Should maintain or improve status if they win a bowl or make a L3 next season, because bowl wins are important and they already have one.
Nebraska- Went 8-5 and lost their L3 bowl to WVU (tough draw). This is probably more of a reflection of the previous 5-8 season, so if they do the same thing again they will probably maintain status I'd think.
Marquette- Went 5-8 in Year 2 of a full rebuild. Should turn the corner next season, better win that bowl game though.
Arkansas- Went 6-7 and missed a bowl, after making a bowl game in Year 1. Will have to turn this around to stay here.
Secure:
WVU- Beat Nebraska in their L3 bowl, rose to Secure and should be out of the woods at this point given the level of coaching ability.
Other potential open jobs:
Penn St.? How many seasons does tkechub's account have left?
Connecticut? Perennial job changer Timberdrive went 2-11 in his first year, can't imagine he hangs around more than 1 more season at most.
Army? Another program hopper, Vikesrule did fine in his 1st season at Army, but will he prefer to take over a different well off team now that Army is graduating 17 players.
