it's like a bakery....cookies everywhere

I entered an OL about 6 months ago with a team that finished 74-88 in a CL and they went 93-69 and advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs in the OL. AAA was used in both leagues solely for mop up duties and to stave off early season fatigue by starting them the first 2 games.

Just my opinion but you will be hitting the WW fairly early trading in some hitters for more pitching at Coors. Prediction 81 - 81.

Also, your team has fatigue city written all over it. Not enough PAs either.

nonenone00, perhaps you weren't aware of this, but "Rate my team" posts really get under people's skin around here. This is a competitive place, and that's just too specific. People will gladly discuss the engine, strategy, how settings work, even individual players. Nobody wants to tell you how to make a specific team better. You're playing against us. We want you to fail. More to the point, each me wants all the yous to fail. That way, me wins.

Note that my post isn't "how can I improve my team" but "rate my team". That's not to say I didn't expect advice or criticism, but I am more just curious what the "experts" around here think of my team as drafted. You'll note that I have not employed the advice I was given, namely: I needed to add a lot more innings and PAs to avoid certain death by fatigue, that I should play in AFCS instead of Coors, and that I should cash in players who walk or steal for guys with high batting averages.

Although I appreciate their advice, I accept it more as an academic excercise, not as actionable ideas to give my team an edge.

You don't want advice... you just want a rating. Really?

I give it a 65. My girlfriend can't dance to it, no backbeat and too much synthesizer. Not to mention the monkey on drums.

P.S.

Joe Morgan is a bust in SIM.

I agree with booger. I think my playoff appearance % has been the same between OL and CL.

I'm just envious there was a time when Champs Leagues actually played. I've been sitting in a dormant CL for four months. Four months ago we had 15 teams... now we have 12.

Again, I didn't take the advice offered, as I previously outlined. Joe Morgan is definately a bust. He just walks and steals, but can hit a lick. Same for my Rickey Henderson, thus far.

Belinda Carlisle?

Does that make me gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) for knowing her name?

All of you haters will be happy to know that my team missed the playoffs, finishing 2nd, 3 games out.

We did win 87 games, which i a lot more than most of you gave the team credit for being able to win.
