Too many good choices still available for me to decide now. I think we're close enough to the end for me to select my second team: 1980 Cardinals 1985 Dodgers
Posted by MAZZILLI16 on 3/3/2025 3:10:00 PM (view original):Season 1 was Games Pitched (NO DH) Season 2 was Slugging % (DH) Season 3 was Rookie of the Year (NO DH) Season 4 was Innings Pitched (NO DH) Season 5 was Plate Appearances (DH) Season 6 was Hit by Pitch (DH) Season 7 was Home Runs (DH) Season 8 was Win-Loss % (NO DH) Season 9 was Singles (DH) Season 10 was Sacrafice Hits (NO DH) Season 11 was Stolen Bases (DH) Season 12 was Strike Outs (Pitching) (NO DH) Season 13 was Triples (DH) Season 14 was Earned Runs Allowed (NO DH) Season 15 was Bases on Balls (Hitting) (DH) Season 16 was WHIP (NO DH) Season 17 was Batting Average (DH) Season 18 was Losses (NO DH) Season 19 will be On-Base % (DH) I had put a list of 40 categories of pitching, hitting, or either leaders that will be used for the 40 seasons. A list of league leaders from 1920-CURRENT will be provided. Each manager will select two players/team/year for your two teams. For example if RBI's are the leaders for the league and you select Johnny Bench 1974 Reds and Lou Gehrig 1934 Yankees...then those are your two teams to twist, but you must keep those two specific years of those players as those are the "RBI Leaders" you used to get to those teams. Your stadium must be from one of those two seasons also. You do not need to select one NL and one AL, you can pick 2 NL or 2 AL. Most batting categories we will use DH in that season and most pitching categories we will be using no DH. Since the playing field is 1920 to Current...you cannot twist before 1920 so if you select a 1920 team you can only twist forward just as if you selected a 2024 team right now you can only twist backward. All specific year player/team combos are unique, but each player/year can be selected twice before being off the board. This provides the opportunity of someone has a favorite player or team that they would like to use. If a player was on more than one team during the season they led the league in a category...you must use the last team he played for and use the combined season stats (The team will be posted after the player). If there was a tie in a season for a league leader, then either player is eligible and you may select either. No clones or duplicates, so you cannot select two of the same player or twist into the same player. Must use home stadium of either of your selected players from that particular season chosen. Standard 24 Team Format. Random Alignment. No Trades, waiver wire, AAA, injuries, clones, duplicates. $100 cap = your two players are per say the core of your team and this is a good cap number and some categories are not positive stats per say. I will pick 13th each season. This is a hitting category, so we will have (DH) in Season 19.
