What would you like him to do? I generally put myself in people's shoes when I disagree with them. I am not sure what I could do here if I were in his shoes. That would not make me a coward. IMO.

Speak his mind and not the NRA's. It is OK to make Pence upset. If I were him I would push to stop business donations in politics... of course this means that DJT will get less funding... but it is morally right.

gun control is the easiest issue in the history of the country.....period.

No. Because millions already own guns and you need to figure out what to do with them, etc. While in principal I agree it should be reformed. It cannot be done overnight and it cannot be done with emotion due to recent events. It needs to be thought out. As I said if I were in his shoes I am not sure what I would do in the immediate present.

It is kind of strange because Trump is resonating with me far more recently... if he does something on gun control, good. If the North Korea thing goes well, HUGE win. If he does both those things, I may have to shift my opinion.

So you mean you are OK with him actually having some time as President prior to judging him? Seems logical. Did someone post that for you?

im sorry..i must need to get my eyes and ears checked...he already failed on gun control.....have you been following the news ?
areal president would have reccomended legislation on -

1. banning bump stocks - he did NOT
2. raising age on rifles - he did NOT
3. strict effective background checks - he did NOT
4. reasonable waiting periods - he did NOT
5. close gun show loop holes - he did NOT

all he did was set up a fake news commission - to do nothing ...waste time...fake out the fools.
i didnt even include banning assault weapons.
he deserves absolutely nothing but scorn....
he is the president...could NOT rise to the crisis..the challenge..only bowed to the killers - the nra.

trump always starts off with things that sound reasonable...to fake people out...he never follows those lies with deeds......he fakes people out.....dont rely on his words...watch what he does.....be smart.

if you are following the news he just submitted his proposal - he recommended arming teachers ( no money ) and creating a worthless fake commission...think who will even be on it.... he trashed commissions the night before.
con man on guns...evil.

He cannot do much unless he turns on his party. He will never do that.
