I have a few different iterations I'm considering.
1.Continuing this exactly but blacklisting the 4 exclusives. Only the seasons we use of those 4 would be blacklisted.
2.Making a "Poor Mans" version which would be the same thing again but the player Cap would be $7M.
3.Using Seasons instead of Franchises. (this could get nasty if you pick a season where there aren't many great players).
Allowing Clones would be an option.
I also thought of everyone making two picks at a time verses one and also making it so you don't get your own Franchise again or another Franchise more than once. (It would take 10 rounds with the last round being 1 pick instead of two to get to 21 players).
