Oh I see..we do have lots of bad seasons on the back end of the 10-year period. And your changes were probably good..dynasties should be measured by more than just 5 years.

Interesting, I make the 2nd round of the PIT and move up 2 slots to 6th. Previously, probably woulda dropped like a rock. Hopefully I can hold my ground...

glad you agree, killbatman-- i wasn't sure at first, but the more I look at it the more I like the change.
and yeah, breum, you had the opposite effect of NCW-- your consistent good results lifted you despite this season's disappointment.

W CT St is ready for next season to begin. We had 5 freshman on the team last season that will all contribute as sophomores. Should be a steady season depending on how the non-conf. schedule goes.

that is harsh. the worst you've done in the last 5 seasons is the sweet 16.

bump for discussion of this season so far...6 games in...I'm enjoying it.

im not enjoying it. worst season as a coach

This is my first season and I am enjoying it as well... I've started strong but I am guessing it is because my schedule has not been great so far more than my team or coaching being good... Oh well, either way, I like it so far and if I am winning with smoke and mirrors, so be it...lol

and I got Breum's St. Olaf team next year.

bc, your issue is neither your team nor your coaching, but rather your schedule. That thing is BRUTAL. you and alex24057 at Connecticut have just beaten yourselves up despite good teams.
i am surprised to be 6-0 at this point, needing to beat bugs to win our mini-tourney... should be a good game. still have 3 other tough games on the noncon schedule, too, including Connecticut.

breum, i just now saw you coach northwestern in naismith. planning on staying there a while? i just took over nc state last season-- what do you say to future challenges between 2 sim-destroyed programs? I think I am already booked up for next season, but am not totally sure...

Tough go of things early. Won the first two over Nichols (my old school who always seems to play me tough regardless of talent level) and Franklin. Then barjaz showed me that I still have a long way to go by bringing his E. Oregon team in and destroying me. Lost a couple tough ones to Beloit and Cazenovia (both ranked and unbeaten). And then I just got blown out at home again by wronoj's Hartwick team.

BTW, since I don't know where else to put it... GG wronoj. I was right there with you into the 2nd half. Next thing I knew, you were up 20. I guess that's more proof that I still have a way to go before I reach that next level.
