Update:  See above for players that can be drafted for the 1946 season. I have the NL pitchers and position players up, and the AL pitchers. Will have the AL position players posted tonight or tomorrow morning.

A question for the other Prog League Commissioners here: How do I set up our own Progressive League Forum ? Do we have to wait until the league exists formally, that is until after our draft when we have placed teams in it ? In that case we will need to use this forum for our initial draft. Or can we do it now ? Do I need to send a ticket requesting a forum to admin ?

Here are the owners that are in so far:

we will need to wait until the schedule is generated.

Another option - I have an old private forum from my Rookie Progressive that crashed after 2 seasons - we actually used it for the Roll the Dice initial draft as well as for the j4m formula discussion thread.  I'd be more than happy to give owners that sign up access to the forum so we can use that for our year one draft.  Once we get our new private forum you can ask admin to transfer all the threads (it helps if you send links to each thread) to the leagues new forum.

Thank you ryno, that worked very well for the Roll the Dice founding draft. We may take you up on it,

I once tried to get on board with a brand-new regressive that started in 2008.  It was poorly run and collapsed after the first season because the commish was terrible.  That has kept me away from progressives/regressives since, but I don't think a league like this will fail due to any commish issues.  I will give it a shot.

I'll join, you have some interesting concepts Italyprof.  I'm doing absolutely zero commish work though :).

This is a great idea!  Count me in!  I've always been interested in this era, but I've never had a chance to play it.

One quick question--We can keep a stadium past its expiration date?  As an example, you have Braves Field in Boston listed.  It closed in 1952.  Can we keep using it for 53 and forward?  Similarly, you list Atlanta Fulton County Stadium, which wasn't built until 1966, and closed 30 years later, if I'm remembering correctly.  We can use that starting on 46 and keep it past 96?  Just curious.

I have never been in for the start of a prog league, but I have a good feeling about this.  Sign me up.
