Just wondering ... Topic

In a rundown, every player who handles the ball (without an error) gets credited for one assist. Theoretically you could have 9 assists on one play (no player can have 2). A player can have both an assist and a putout on a rundown.

Pretty sure I've seen passed balls on third strikes, with the runner reaching first.

Another occurrence last night I don't think I have seen before in my years in baseball.

We hit a batter and walked 3 more all in the same inning. We did not give up a run.

This one is interesting to me...I don't think the catcher should get an assist on this play. Seems like it should just be scored 6-5.

I'm pretty sure he meant 1-6-5. Otherwise, you're right.
