I have never built a team (except a 60M team) strictly around range or fielding. At least for a long stretch before that last update. I would always take an old school player with a ridiculous average and just deal with the errors.

But since the update I have definitely seen the D come back into play. Not sure how much to value it but I know you at least have to have half decent gloves or you will be punished...
