Ashburn's 73

Player of the Game
Cesar Cedeno hits for the cycle

Now that's more like it!

And Cedeno was a triple away from hitting for 2 cycles: he had 3 singles, 3 doubles, a triple, 2 homers.

Mcgraw's 87
Ashburn's 98

185 Total 2 games wow so what is the record

I don't know, I don't think playoff stats are on the records page. But if they were, I'm sure clk0619's name would be there.

Player of the Game
Brian Giles hits 3 homers

A pitching duel compared to Game 2.

So far in the Series, John McGraw is 8 for 9 with 12 walks and a HBP (.OBP of .955) and 24 runs scored.

Ashburn's 45
McGraw's 15

Player of the Game
Willie McGee hits for the cycle

Okay, I cheated a bit on this one, in order to get a Game 7 -- I put all the Ashburn's players at their regular positions. Strangely enough, they made the same amount of errors as the out-of-position McGraw's. Next game everyone on both teams will be out-of-position again.

I think Willie McGee is the 5th or 6th player who's hit for the cycle so far this series.

I don't know who to root for. McGraw is my favorite sim player, but the Cardinals are my favorite team.

Can you post link to final stats, should be some good stuff there!

Ashburn's 38
McGraw's 25

Player of the Game
Cesar Cedeno hits for the cycle

Cedeno, after taking four games off to get his fatigue level up to 90%, hits for the cycle again (consecutive starts!) as the Ashburn's take the World Series. Winning pitcher Jim Hackett wins 4 games in the Final (also bats in 15!) and is awarded the WS MVP -- despite his somewhat inflated 32.15 ERA!

Ashburn's scored 304 runs in the series, McGraw's scored 237.
