This theme league idea would make for a fun progressive.

nominate any team you want. keep x # of the players from that team. the rest go into the pool that everyone can draft from.

maybe the nominating order for teams is randomized so the first person doesn't just pick the '15 Red Sox and nobody wants to sign up for the league. the picking of teams could be the first round.

then if you want to get really crazy, the next year, the bottom 5 teams could each nominate a new team, and you'd draft from those 5.

or you could just be more normal and pick a year to draft from. maybe all the nominated teams have to be pre-1990 and then you draft from 1991 the first year, 1992 the 2nd year, etc.

you'd have some ownership of the team because you picked them, and most everyone would have a superstar to build around.

of course i'd still love to try to get the PCL progressive concept off the ground some day, so what do i know?
