also politics IS business. how is it not? I work with politicians. They set up business bank accounts, they pay employees, they send out marketing to brand themselves, they fund raise money to stay in business... sounds like many of the Not For Profits I work with.

You know what's going to be ******* hilarious? When Trump has the most delegates and the RNC nominates Rubio at the convention instead.

re: Obama experience

I don't think he failed reaching across the line because he was green. I believe it was because he took his already flawed arrogant personality and added to it the blindness that came with the hero worship like support he got in his first election and simply thought he didn't have to. It didn't matter that he hadn't been through it before, it was simply who he is.

I'm not saying this as an endorsement of Rubio, but I don't think his ego would prevent progress. With Obama, it did.

I don't disagree... But having more experience in the Senate imo would have helped with both gaining negotiating experience and relationship building with those he would have eventually have worked with as President.

Your examples were when he was ******. That's the guy who gets caught ******* the maid then settles with his wife only giving her 47%. He "wins" because it wasn't half. But he lost 47% of his ****.
How would I know what happened at the negotiating table for Trump business deals. Bottom line is no one can go into a negotiation without compromise and make a deal happen. Thats not a negotiation - Thats what Obama and Cruz do. Trump closes many many deals.... Yuuuuuge deals...... which must mean he compromises.
Or he gets up, walks out and makes a more favorable deal with another person. What do you have that would indicate he's capable of compromise? His bankruptcy settlements? His divorce settlements? Those were back against the wall deals.

Again, in business, you have other options. Sitting at a table with China, you must deal with China.

Business is not politics, politics is not business.

And, no, moyluck, I'm not playing your diversion game. We'll stay on topic here.
What would you consider a back against the wall international negotiation? Because you just ticked off 4 bankruptcies and 2 divorces where donald had his back to the wall and you see the results of his compromise.
Uh, when you're back is against the wall, you compromise. Because you have to.

What if Trump said "**** no" in bankruptcy/divorce court? The rulings would have been much worse than the settlement.

Really?

Did moy really post Trump's bankruptcies as support of what a great businessman Trump is?

I never knew that bankruptcy was a desired goal for running a business. I feel enlightened now after learning that.

A new poll conducted by Magellan Strategies and released at the Louisiana conservative blog, The Hayride, shows Donald Trump ahead of Ted Cruz, who's in a distant second. Marco Rubio in this poll does not meet the 20% threshold to gain delegates from Louisiana, which holds its primary on Saturday.

According to the poll, Trump has a 41-21 lead over Cruz, with Rubio at 15. That would be a big loss to Cruz, who entered Super Tuesday hoping to pick up a large portion of the south, long considered his best chance to perform well in this primary season. The Trump campaign, however, won over southerners, evangelicals, and those outraged at Washington D.C., effectively taking the wind from the Cruz campaign so far.

We will have a new Democrat Governor in Massachusetts with the current Repug Gov saying if Trump gets the nomination, he won't vote. He will end up losing 70% of the people voting for Trump and with virtually no Repubs in MA, he will get trounced in 2018.

The fact of the matter is the people are speaking. Either the GOP changes their platform in order to get to the right of circa 1960 Democrat party or die.

No. It was an effort to show how Trump will compromise. Because, in bankruptcy court, you can say "No, I'd like to keep all my stuff. Thanks for your time."

OK. But still, leading a business to bankruptcy is a sign of a good businessman, no?

How many times has your business gone bankrupt, Mike?

Agreed. I didn't vote for Mark Kirk because he's supports Dick Durbin over state Republicans. A no vote in MAs case is a vote for the opposition.

The sign of a good businessman is what he does AFTER he's failed..... Walt Disney, Henry Ford, Milton Hershey, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, George Steinbrenner, Henry Heintz, Dave Ramsey, Colonel Sanders, Donald Trump.
