I like that nick name for them. I've started to refer to them at Run A(rguetta)M(cGlade)C(olismo)

I'm still debating whether to put Grant into the starting lineup for the postseason over McGlade like I did last season. So far, McGlade is vastly out performing 5th year senior Grant, so I won't have a decision to make. Can't be many kids in D3 that can match McGlade's 80+ speed, hower Grant is fairly fast himself, and that 5th year senior IQ would be a tough matchup as well.

no kidding, kybjones. it was brutal. but i will always take the brutal victories over the pretty losses (like i took to taz a few nights ago).

I am currently 276-99 at WCTST. My next loss will be my 100th.

They've been struggling lately, at least the squad. 3 straight losses, and a 4th poor offensive peformance in a big win over Brandeis. To be fair, all 4 opponents were solid to national title contenders, so its not quite as bad as it sounds.
Might have to switch it to run AGC as McGlade has been struggling a bit, while Grant has finally found the switch and has been tearing things up a bit, getting 2 starts in the last 4. I think Grant moves into the starting lineup for the postseason, while McGlade is the gunner off the bench.
I don't know, I've still got a couple of tweaks I think I'd like to make w/ my lineup when the time is right.

Becker is just sick...a 593 team average?
10/13/2007 4:27 AM
I ended up with a 610 average last year and got knocked out in the S16 - hopefully someone will be able to knock out Becker.

i think i was about 585, lost in the second round... not sure what the winners' ratings were.

NCWC had 562 team average..the Final 4 and Title Game MVP had a 1 Dur and just barely broke 600..overall rating isn't everything

Oh I know, but you can usually tell generally if a team is poor, dominant, or somewhere in the middle...
10/14/2007 3:06 AM
Very true..and I think anywhere close to 600 team average definitely qualifies as "dominant." Off the top of my head, I would guess that WC St team last year had a higher average than 3/4 of D2 schools. That could be a little off, but still..that's almost not fair.

And we still couldn't bring home the championship.

We are living on the edge at Manchester.... a 60 RPI with 4 tough games vs postseason teams to finish the season. It very well may be a one and done on this dynasty list.

There was a D-III superclass team in Naismith (I think) a few seasons ago with a 683 team average. That is as good as my NT-worthy D-I team.
