I have seen some coaches go straight from D1-Aa to elite jobs. How many years at 1-AA is required. I’m 3 years in and all D1 jobs are available to me other than elites

I went from Dartmouth to Alabama, but I had a lot of seasons at Dartmouth and won the NC the last 4 seasons until I made the jump.
