How much weight does a scholarship offer carry? Little to none?

I don’t think much. I usually hand them out when a recruit is green. That said, the few times I have handed out when yellow, it didn’t change much.

The supposedly informed answer has always been "none." Still, I think it has a little value.

i've never heard of a yellow recruit turning green after an offer.

They made a change to scholarship offers awhile back. It's supposed to have a positive effect, but I have never seen it. It does have a huge negative effect though if you remove it. I'm not sure why they felt it was important to change it.

I would think a committable offer should carry weight.
