So who has trouble with sitemail? Topic

Admin seems to think 100% of the people who had an issue with site-mail was able to resolve the issue by clearing cache and deleting cookies. I tried that (with my android smart-phone) and it did not fix the issue.

I told them that there are probably many others who still are having issues.

Their stupid security fix (due to one spam email that got through) is poorly designed if every so often, users can no longer use site-mail.

I've posted elsewhere and put in a ticket so they have it on file, but I've followed all of the steps and on my browser of choice I cannot access sitemail via mobile or my computer. If In fact, trying to do so locks up the webpage entirely and I have to close the entire window and reopen as even the back button or trying to type into the address bar does nothing. The cache-clearing link works on other browsers, but means I essentially have to login to two separate browsers to access WIS. My primary browser that I do everything (work and personal) in and use the forums and manage my teams, and a separate browser just for sitemail.

For the record, my primary browser on both computer and phone is Brave. I also use Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, and MicroBrowser for different functions.

This only started happening with the sitemail fix they implemented.

I can access site-mail and read site-mails. I just can't send (or reply to) a site-mail from my phone (Chrome browser). It hangs on "Checking if the site connection is secure". All my other devices work fine, including my laptop, desktop, tablet. I tried a different browser on my phone and it worked fine.

Admin can't resolve it so they suggested using a different browser.

Same experience for me. I have an Android phone. I gave up trying to solve it and downloaded another browser, Microsoft's Edge. Sitemail works fine on it. And I needed it that day for a live draft while having only phone access. Was planning to just use it for that. But I've been liking it better overall than Chrome. Roundabout way to have switched phone browsers, but everything seems to generally run faster and smoother now
