If I'm the first team on the list for the recruit is that enough for them to sign with me or do I have to get the sims off the recruit entirely??

Is a campus visit better than 2 home visits or 4 scouting trips??

I hope this isn't top secret information.

On the recruiting summary page, the order of the teams matters. On the player card, it does not matter. Conventional wisdom is that the faster you knock a sim off a recruit, the better, because they never run out of recruiting cash and keep recruiting a guy until you knock them off.

I only send CVs, promised starts, and promised playing time. Most veteran coaches do the same. There's no reason you shouldn't know that. Good luck!

If you don’t knock the SIM off completely, you are not guaranteed to get the player. While you may ultimately get the recruit, the SIM will keep applying resources to them until they are knocked off. The resources they apply may ultimately make the recruit decide to play for them. In my experience, if the recruit decides within 24 hours of initial signing, the recruit will sign with me. I believe that has happened 100% of the time with me. If not, they will likely sign with the SIM. I believe only one time out of four have I gotten a recruit that committed more than 24 hours after signing starts.
