Can anyone point me to a link that shows the season by season normalization factors? Specifically I want to find the data that helps determine the "+" number for a given season. So if someone had a WHIP of 1.15 but their WHIP+ shows as 130, the league average was something higher obviously. Im sure it may be on BB Reference but didnt know if WIS made that available as it is not included in the WIS download.

Not sure about finding a "season average" on WIS. You can find it at Baseball Reference. Just go to any season you want and all teams' hitting and pitching season totals plus averages are listed. MLB totals and averages are at the bottom of each list. For example, I called up 2010...MLB average WHIP was 1.347. Batting average was .257. Hope this helps some.

What you're looking for may be here, but I don't know about it. Doing okay for an old man, just heading for hip replacement surgery next month. Hope you're doing well.

go to the main team center page, then click the More.. menu. Click on Stat Legend, then scroll down to the bottom and there is a link to major league averages (although it hasnt been updated since 2011)

Awesome...thanks 06, Im looking for data for the NWP league because I cannot beat you doing what I have been doing so trying to dig a little deeper...haha.

On the other hand, I dont think the 1920s seasons would need an update since 2011.
