During the NHL lockout - WIS ran a lockout league. A special league with all 30 teams and their approximate rosters for what would have been the 2004/2005 season. Owner's had to apply for the positions and 30 select sim owners were chosen. The results of the league were highly advertised and league owner's were allowed to do press releases which were posted in  a special forum for the league.

After the league ended, the 30 team lockout league format was made available for play in theme leagues for about a year or so I believe.

Anyway, was thinking this would be a wonderful idea to spark some interest in the NBA sim... And was also thinking there is no way it will ever happen.

We could just more or less start our own. 

This was especially cool because they promoted it, front page adds and stuff.. made its own forum.. allowed 30 league teams.. 


I realize we could do a lockout theme league but that is not nearly the same thing.

oh i didn't realize 30 league teams thing. that would be nutso but lots of fun. i bet they don't do this.
